Dealer Event in Ferrara

Last week you could witness a clash between two worlds: Oakley’s high end Rolling O Lab met the beautiful ancient Italian city Ferrara! The town has broad streets and numerous palaces dating from the 14th and 15th century, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

High Definition Optics within breathtaking ancient buildings, you can imagine how stoked the O-Lab Crew was to meet Oakley fans and dealers at this special place. Right in front of a medieval castle, the O Lab got a picture perfect position. Italy’s HDO experts Francesco Trancanelli and Filippo Masala educated several groups of people on Oakley’s technology, philosophy and superior quality, while everybody outside the air-conditioned trailer was sweating in the cruel heat.

The stoked crowd later moved on to Ottica Giulianelli to welcome Oakley’s MotoGP rider Loris Capirossi for a signing session. People of all age groups showed up to meet one of the most admired heroes of MotoGP. Everybody wanted to get a signed photograph with “Capirex” – hence the little printer and camera proved to be a great idea! Fans could immediately take a picture with their idol, get it signed by Loris and take it home!
All in all it was again a great day for the Rolling O crew. Special thanks go to Giovanni Balestra for making this happen, our shop partner Ottica Giulianelli, Jan for his amazing parking skills and the 2 training machines Filo & Tranka.
