Rolling O Lab Rocks Motown
The Rolling O Lab kicked off its trip to the Detroit area with a stop at the Tennis & Golf Company in Royal Oak, Michigan. With music bumping and the grill in full effect, the local community came by to check out the many advantages of Oakley’s High Definition Optics. T&G Co.’s eyewear specialist, Eric Knudson, was on hand from start to finish lending a helping hand and ensuring this stop was a success.
From there the lab rolled on up I-75 to the Oakhurst Golf and Country Club for an Oakley Pro Am. With the help of Corona Extra, Oakley got the party started right the night before with a steady stream of tours and frozen lime putting. Fresh off his top 30 finish at the Buick Open, Oakley head to toe golfer James Nitties stopped by and joined in the festivities.
The following morning everyone was back at Oakhurst for a full day of golf on the par 72, 18-hole course. Corona had every cart stocked with coolers and B&D’s Mongolian Grill made sure no one went hungry. Cash prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive both for amateurs and pros added to the fun. The day wrapped up with a raffle that included a variety of Oakley gear, Corona coolers, memorabilia signed by the Detroit Pistons, and three seats on the Pistons team jet for a team event.
Huge thanks to Joe Green, Kelly Kronberg, Stefanie Green, Matt Gerry and George Bowman.
