Rolling O Lab Meets Up With Hibbetts Sporting Goods
As spring sports get underway around the country, the managers from Hibbetts Sporting Goods locations across the south are invited to Birmingham, AL to get a preview of all the upcoming gear. While most vendors were simply setting up booths at the convention center, Chris Nelson thought it would be a good idea to call in the heavy artillery for support. The Rolling O Lab took over the conference hall providing tours all day, allowing the Hibbetts Head Coaches and corporate buyers to experience the reality of High Definition Optics. It became easy for them to see the importance of Oakley technology in today’s performance driven world.
The O Lab stole the show as the line to take a tour wrapped throughout the hall with beats bumping all the while. The Hibbetts Head Coaches soaked up the vibe all day and left with a bit more knowledge on Oakley eyewear. Thanks to the help of Oakley’s Ben Masek and Chris Nelson, the impact really sunk in with giveaways and a high caliber raffle for luggage and a new Holeshot! The Hibbetts team was blown away and their bond with the Oakley family appeared to grow even stronger.
On the Hibbetts side of things, Candricka Sutton and Bill Woodall played a major role in planning the visit and their efforts are greatly appreciated. A HUGE thanks goes out to Oakley’s Dan Martin who worked endlessly to coordinate the logistics of the meeting and ensure that everything was dialed prior to the arrival of the O Lab. We couldn’t have done it without his help.
Even after the other vendors packed up and left, the O Lab crew stuck around and was stoked to be a part of this event. We had a great time working with all the Head Coaches and as usual, we look forward to seeing you all next year! Mahalo.
