Oakley Kicks Off MLB Spring Training Tour w/ NY Mets
Kicking off the 2009 Oakley / MLB Spring Training Tour was the New York Mets for a two game stretch against the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals.
The Rolling O Lab was parked directly in front of the Mets Stadium, producing tons of foot traffic for the crew. Part of the foot traffic were top players from the Mets, All-Star first baseman Carlos Delgado and Cy Young Award Winner Johan Santana. Johan was a big fan of the Sports Chassis, which pulls the Rolling O Lab and Carlos really dug the lifestyle sunglass Eyepatch.
Other Mets wearing Oakley eyewear in 2009 are outfielder Ryan Church, catcher Omir Santos and infielder Marlon Anderson. The Mets have come on hard times the last two seasons with rough Septembers, but with the addition of two of the best closers in baseball and healthy starting rotation they look to end that sour streak with a pennant title in 2009.
