Women fashionistas probably thought little of Oakley designs just a few years ago. Lo and behold, a new era is here. Taking Miami by storm, O’s Spring 2013 Swimwear Runway Show, hosted by Trimera Group, delivered sizzling hot Oakley flare to Hyde Beach in the SLS Hotel in late July. Showcasing one of the most stylin’ swim collections around – along with pieces from UNO de 50 jewelry on the catwalk – the stunning exhibition displayed the brand’s ultra unique combination of world class style and athletic performance design that characterizes its coming swimsuit line. Lead by Oakley pro surfer Erica Hosseini and O pro beach volleyball player (and model) Jess Gysin, an amazing collection of models made it clear to guests on hand the immense evolution of Oakley’s apparel line – especially in regards to women’s design.

Mark Paul Gosselaar, is definitely stoked on Oakley. The long-time Hollywood star, his kids and a collection of some of Tinsel Town’s brightest young stars converged in Dana Point, Calif. to be welcomed into the O family – surf style. All for Oakley’s famous ‘Learn to Ride’ program, which merges the entertainment and sports industries in efforts to spread the stoke on different sports. Hitting Doheny Beach on July 22, Gosselaar (TNT’s Franklin and Bash), Amber Lancaster (MTV’s Hard Times of RJ Berger), Brian Geraghty (Hurtlocker, The Chameleon), Kate Voegele (One Tree Hill) and many more joined to get down, get up on their boards and learn from Oakley’s resident Women’s World No. 2 Pro standout Sage Erickson, as well as Oakley Surf Managers Ronny Nelson and Luke Walsh.
